Wycliffe Abok is the Head of Product at Crucibel Technology Limited. He brings vast clinical experience, health systems management and practical hospital leadership experience to the design and development of digital health solutions.
Wycliffe, a practising BScN, KRCHN, RN Anaesthetist, has spent years working within clinical care environments and managing hospital operations and medical education thus giving him a deep understanding of patient care pathways, clinical workflows, theatre and perioperative processes, facility management, governance requirements and the daily realities faced by healthcare professionals. His unique background enables him to bridge the gap between software engineering and direct clinical practice, ensuring that Crucibel’s products are not only technically robust but also practical, intuitive and responsive to real healthcare settings.
Since joining Crucibel in 2024, Wycliffe has played a key role in shaping the product direction of Nova HIE, bringing frontline clinical insight into workflows for patient information management, laboratory requests, prescription dispensing, diagnostic imaging, reporting and care coordination. He works closely with technical and implementation teams to ensure that Nova mirrors the operational flow of busy Kenyan hospitals and clinics, while supporting efficiency, accuracy, accountability and compliance with national health reporting and medical governance standards.
Wycliffe advocates for reduced administrative burden, improved clinical decision-making, minimized human error, shortened patient waiting times and strengthened quality and safety of care.
